It’s been another busy week, so I didn’t have time to gather much for your week in review. I did want to share these verses from Colossians, however. They were part of my devotional study this week and it struck me just how forgotten these verses seem to be among professing Christians today.
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which is the bond of perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful. (Colossians 3:12-15, BSB)
Let this admonition of the Apostle Paul spur us on to love, kindness, patience, and compassion with one another.
