Well, after what feels like approximately 13 years, January 2021 is finally coming to a close.
It’s so odd to think that, one year ago, we were only seeing the proverbial tip of the iceberg with the pandemic. Few of us would have predicted that we’d spend the next several months in masks, not to mention the other drastic changes to our daily lives. Hopefully we’ve all learned a few things, though. If nothing else, we should all be really good at washing our hands now. Still, it frightens me to consider the fact that most adults didn’t actually know how to do that before.
Okay, I admit that I am struggling to find favorable links to share with you these days. That means another brief week in review (kind of):
- If you need me, I’ll be napping.
- Things to think about when interacting online.
- Yes, good for her!
- Here’s your weekly dose of adorable.
- Cookie Monster is my favorite, so I definitely need one of these rocks.
- How should we think about the Bible’s sinful heroes?
- I often need to be reminded that God hears even our wordless prayers.
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ. For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him. He predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he lavished on us in the Beloved One.
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he richly poured out on us with all wisdom and understanding.Ephesians 1:3-8 (CSB)
